Distances compressed · worlds enlarged

A beautiful approximation.

Planet and Moon positions use Astronomy Engine. Earth orientation, lunar phases and local sunrise/sunset share the same date. Supported exploration range: 1800–2099.

Distances and body sizes are compressed independently for visibility. The Moon’s distance is enlarged relative to Earth; this view is not suitable for predicting eclipses. Stars use J2000 catalog directions without proper motion or parallax. Milky Way brightness is artistically softened from mapped contours.

Surface maps and clouds are static imagery, not live weather. The Sun’s surface is an illustration. Space stations are illustrative, not live tracking; comet paths are two-body approximations.
